Heather Scott Partington is a writer, school librarian, and book critic. She is a board member and the recent past president of the National Book Critics Circle. She currently serves as NBCC Fiction Award Chair. Heather is a regular contributor to Alta Journal. Her writing has also appeared in publications such as The New York Times Book Review, The Washington Post, USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, and The San Francisco Chronicle. She lives in Elk Grove, California.
